Certificate EN ISO 3834-3 - standard quality requirements for fusion welding

Uniforest has obtained the EN ISO 3834-3 certification for standard quality requirements in fusion welding of metallic materials, issued by the independent certification body TÜV SÜD. This standard defines how welding must be organised and controlled to ensure consistent and traceable weld quality, both in the production facility and in field operations. (ISO) 

The EN ISO 3834-3 standard is part of the ISO 3834 series, which specifies quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials. It is primarily intended for manufacturers of metal structures and machinery and complements quality management systems such as ISO 9001, with a specific focus on welding processes. (TÜV NORD) 

What EN ISO 3834-3 Covers

Among other things, the standard defines requirements for: (BSI Knowledge) 

• control of the entire welding process, from preparation to final inspection,
• qualification of welding personnel and responsible welding coordination,
• approved welding procedures and the use of appropriate equipment,
• inspection and testing of welds, including documentation of results,
• traceability of base materials and welding consumables,
• management of nonconformities and continuous improvement of welding quality.
