A new sustainable strategy was designed in 2020 to determine business goals and KPIs by 2023. This shall be our strategy towards coming challenges bringing rapid technological development, global climate changes and other development trends.

Our priority is to manage a value offer, based on the outdoor work-safety of the machines’ users and wider positive effects for the protection of the environment, society and economy.

A contemporary service support, clear instructions and mutual dialogue ensure the high-quality and user-satisfactory aftersales activities.

We strive to make sure our users get acquainted with the instructions in a user-friendly and comprehensive manner, which is a crucial factor for lowering the risk when working - and machine-related injuries.

On top of that, we improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our forestry machinery with an efficient system for safe work and maintenance of the machines/attachments. We operate with a distributer and maintenance network of specialists who regularly attend trainings and educational workshops to efficiently pass on the usage and field-service knowledge.

Our machines are available with BIO-degradable oils and lubricants. Additionally, 99% of all machines can be recycled. Apart from that, we provide machine part refurbishment and reuse after its lifespan.

We encourage and educate our employees to use natural and sustainable materials at work and in everyday life.

Keeping a healthy and clean environment for future generations is a foundation for building our development and corporate culture as a whole. In-house we are pursuing a sustainable packaging and tool use, with upgrades to the production we are lowering the CO2 emissions, we use BIO-degradable and environmentally-friendly cleaning agents.

We are increasing the work quality by including employees into different projects for workplace wellbeing. Our education and training system is efficiently working hand in hand with the employee evaluation and rewarding system. We are also involved in workshops for active leisure time in the nature and we strongly support sports activities, such as participation in cycling and running marathons, skiing, mountaineering, and other activities. Each year, we organise a social gathering with sports games in the nature for relaxation and teambuilding purposes that contribute to the wellbeing of the whole team and consequently high level of motivation, loyalty and teamwork culture.

Employees are provided with a safe and healthy workplace environment and are also encouraged to participate in educational activities to upgrade and enrich their knowledge. 

We also organise sports activities and support activities of local social and sports clubs and organizations. Including all employees in at least one project for the workplace health and wellbeing and making sure to take all required measures to protect their health in times of the COVID-19 epidemic, we were enabled to maintain and build an excellent team of employees in all departments.

The development vision of the company is to continue and perfect development with a fundamental objective of producing safe and ergonomic machines to minimize the number of work-related accidents when using our machines and attachments on-site. 

Many employees are involved in voluntary fire brigades, where they help and connect the local society.

Our company has numerous agreements with local and other partners who support sustainability and active participation in the circular economy. We are doing our best to give back to the community, which has proved to be crucial. Our colleagues come from surrounding areas and many of our cooperants are also suited nearby.

Since 2014 we’ve worked hand in hand with the Society of Forest Owners of Lower Savinja Valley as well as the Celje Regional Unit of Slovenia Forest Service to organise an annual Timber sports competition for forest owners. The gathering serves as a means for foresters to display their skills as well as to promote safe and sustainable forestry work that positively reinforces the environmentally friendly forest management culture. The event connects not only the competitors and visitors, but also works as a meeting opportunity for the local businesses, where we project the future of forestry in the local area.

Uniforest donations and sponsorships are regularly handed to local fire brigades, cultural, sports and other societies and organizations – especially if our colleagues or business partners are active there. It is also in our interest to contribute to the development of culture and cultural events in the area.

For years, we have been a proud sponsor to the snowboarder Tim Mastnak (Silver medal in 2022 Olympics) and other successful athletes from surrounding areas. Our donations are also given to humanitarian societies, choirs, cultural institutions, fire brigades and many other socially oriented projects.
