Industry 4.0 and 5.0

The smart power of nature Uniforest Connect App

Analysis of Uniforest machinery functions from the Industry 4.0 and 5.0 perspectives

The analysis was conducted by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor.

1. Connectivity and Smart Maintenance

Uniforest machines are connected to the central Uniforest database via the Uniforest Connect mobile app, enabling service cycle tracking, predictive maintenance, and timely notifications to service centers. Thanks to this technology, spare parts are always available and the work process remains smooth.

Industry 4.0 in practice - integrating IoT and data analytics.

EU Directive reference: 2006/42/EC - Safety of machinery.

1. Connectivity and Smart Maintenance
2. Real-time diagnostics and remote control

2. Real-time diagnostics and remote control

Solutions at your fingertips - anywhere, anytime! With advanced remote machine diagnostics and a response time of 0.3 seconds, operators and technicians can monitor machine loads in real-time, check input signals, and troubleshoot quickly.

Industry 4.0 - advanced machine monitoring.

EU strategy reference: Shaping Europe's digital future.

3. Traceability and safety of machinery

All machine information in one place! Every Uniforest machine is traceable by a serial number stored in the electronics and displayed on the declaration plate. The service history is always available, giving a complete overview of past interventions and future maintenance.

Industry 4.0 - transparency and smart data management.

EU guidelines reference: EU guidelines for industrial research and innovation.

3. Traceability and safety of machinery
4. Ergonomic design according to EU standards

4. Ergonomic design according to EU standards

Less effort, more safety! Uniforest machines are designed following EU ergonomic guidelines, including the ISO 12100 standard, which reduces operator fatigue and improves the working environment. Personalized control systems and user-friendly applications allow easy operation in multiple languages.

Industry 5.0 - focusing on people and a safe working environment. EU Directive reference: EU Directive 89/391/EEC on health and safety at work.

In line with the EU guidelines for Industry 5.0, digitalisation and the green transition.
