Lojze and Dominik Sladič - User opinion

Lojze and Dominik Sladič from Cimerman Farm have been working with the Titan 53/40 Premium for over two years. What do they have to say about our machine? Watch the video to find out!

Lojze Sladič and his son, Dominik Sladič, warmly welcomed us to their farm, where they live and work. Lojze took over the farm in 2009, and while Dominik is still attending Grm Novo mesto High School, he is already involved in the farm's operations. Other family members also contribute to daily activities, helping to achieve their sustainable and successful farming goals.

Working at the Cimerman Farm

Cimerman Farm is located at an elevation of 750 meters above sea level and consists of 45 hectares of forest and 28 hectares of grassland. As Lojze shared: "Our farm is currently being converted to an organic farm. We breed Limousin suckler cows and are part of the meat control program managed by the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia. In the future, we plan to keep more female animals to increase our herd size and selectivity, while selling male animals as breeding stock."

The farm also has a registered supplementary business in timber felling, handling, and processing. Over the past three years, they have increased firewood production and chose the Titan 53/40 Premium to meet the rising demand from customers. This machine allows them to produce more of their own firewood, averaging 300 cubic meters of dry beech and 150 cubic meters of fresh beech wood annually. Its mobility also enables them to process firewood in the field for various customers, with an additional 150 cubic meters of firewood produced on-site each year.

What they like the most about the Titan 53/40 Premium

Dominik, who operates the firewood processor, shared his favorite features: the hydraulically adjustable feed-in table and the multi-part knife. He explained, "I especially appreciate the hydraulic ramp, which makes it much easier to handle crooked logs, and the multi-function knife with four splitting options for logs of different thicknesses. This allows us to work faster and more efficiently, as we don’t need to sort logs by thickness."

They also emphasized the importance of a quality setup and demonstration for first-time use. "At start-up, the machine was presented very well, which made initial operation smooth and easy. The machine's design and ergonomics are outstanding, making it both efficient and easy to work with. We also purchased a 4-meter log deck, which allows us to load a large amount of wood at once."
