The mechanical forestry winch 45 M / MR with a pulling force of 4.5t can either have a reduction gear (MR) or no reduction gear (M).

About the machine

The 45M / MR mechanical forestry winch with a puling force of 4.5t has large storage spaces on the front of the winch (butt plate) that are patented. The MR model has an integrated reduction gear, which allows for the same pulling force to be achieved with less tractor power and, consequently, also reduces its consumption. The window guard is foldable, which makes transport easier. A recognizable winch design with a durable construction and a compact butt plate prevents wear and enables easy work.

Multi-plate clutch, made of thicker clutch lining material, prevents wear.

Hand cord

The hand cord for engaging the pulling mechanism is only 60 cm long. 

Less force is required to pull the cord for disengaging the brake or achieving full pulling force.

Lubrication free sealed ball bearings (FAG) ensure uninterrupted unwinding and winding of the wire rope; no lubrication is required.

Wire ropes

Recommended wire rope thickness according to the maximum wire rope length:

  • 10mm/70m

The wire rope must be up to standard, the breaking force of the wire rope must be at least twice as much as the pulling force.

A locking safety pin ensures the winch rope remains on the pulley. A magnetic holder secures the lower pulley during transportation.
